STUDYING IN THE USA
About half a million foreign students from all over the world choose to complete their college studies in the USA. Most students spend the majority of their time on college campuses which offer them a large variety of sports and entertainment facilities catered to fit their needs when they don’t have to attend classes.
Students are required to take classes during two semesters in one academic year, that is in the Fall semester (August-December), and in the Spring semester (January-May). Also, students may choose to attend Summer school classes (June-July).
In order to complete a four-year program, and earn a Bachelor’s Degree (BA), students are required to earn 120-130 credits. Each class, which students are free to choose, carries from 1-4 credits. Ideally, it is recommended that students earn about 15 credits for each semester.
